The University of Milan offers a vast variety of courses and degrees. Some are one pf the best in Europe, others tend to be neglected. Courses such as Law School and Medicine are one of the top Universities in Europe, with great progrems and courses for students. The University has many opportunities for students as well as professors. The latter tend to be profesional and experts in what they do. The organization of courses, however, is lacking. Students often find themselves confused when trying to figure out how things work.

The University of Milan is well known for its wide range of academic study programs at the undergraduate, post- graduate and research levels. Courses begin as early as September till June or July with a few break periods in between. The University of Milan can boast of having some well-established Professors acclaimed internationally in most of its faculties. The availability of its English- taught programs which attracts international students from the world over accounting for the great cultural diversity of its students. Of course the beauty of all establishments lies in its infrastructures. In that regard " La Statale" in all its campuses depicts the outcome of architectural genius , finesse and resistance all at once and is well equipped to provide good grounds for research in an Institution worthy of its name.

The uni is in an amazing location and offers great student life, there is so much to do and enjoy in manchester. The library and learning commons are great and offer amazing facilities and loads of space to study, 24/7. You can also borrow iPads/laptops from the uni for those who cannot afford their own. There is such a broad range of courses on offer at Manchester and my degree can include modules from other Social Science disciplines to read deepen my understanding and learning. The student union is great and offers loads of activities and events, such as poster sales, vinyl sales, fundraisers for world events, and protests to partake in. There are also great student bars and local nightlife. Around 90% of my core subjects were completely online for semester 2. I found this quite difficult as it limits contact time and it is harder to concentrate online. I also feel this isn’t really value for money considering the vast amount me and my coursemates are paying. However, my lecturers have been great online and I have appreciated their efforts, though with repeated strikes I have also missed out on a lot of my in-person teaching as well. When there are strikes, they also limit our access to the slides that we have missed, which greatly restricts our learning. I feel considering the £9grand price tag we should be supported through strikes the best that the uni can.
