My first week of freshers was so amazing, I got to meet a lot of new people. I did an introduction into my course which was very helpful because I was so worried about starting my course. I really enjoyed the night life it was quite different to what I'm used to in London Bournemouth university accommodations are quite nice, I loved my accommodations in first year. The atmosphere was so friendly, the staff were nice, they really cared about students that lived in accommodation, they would write our birthdays on the white board and interact with us. Overall all the facilities are good, The 24 hour library was such a lifesaver in first year, you could go there and use the school computer systems and do your work if you have an assignment due. I never really used to sports area but I know that there is a gym and I had a friend that played basketball and he seem to enjoy it. Student union is the best I know all the members of the student union team, they are so friendly and caring they're really funny and kind and do a lot events and campaigns catered to what the students want I love how my courses is run, we had Lectures, seminars and labs. I really love the teaching style. I love the little walk-throughs we have in our labs The city life is quite fun I just love exploring it, because I'm from London we don't have many beaches I find going to the beach when I'm stressed out, very peaceful and calming.

This was going back, and don't remember much but I do remember having introduction for each topic with my new lectures and just covering what we we're going to be down this semester. My accommodation was really good. Was in a great location and loved the way my accommodation was set up even though it wasn't the most expensive! Staff were amazing and got on really well with them Library and student areas is where I spent most of my time regarding uni work so it's everything I could ask for really. We had 5 aside on campus and had a sports hall. Would have loved a bigger gym as there wasn't much space to work out so had to move gym for that but otherwise was really good My course is quite broad and covers various things which I'm interested in! Lectures in the first year were good but preferred seminars as I could engage more in the work City life was quality. Bournemouth had everything. The beach, clubs and bars! Really couldn't wrong. Still waiting to experience summer time there as COVID put that on hold! But would say it's one of the best places to be with the right people

Everything was new to me. Saw things which i have never seen before and had a great to enjoy with friends Its peaceful and very close to the university. The bus service is great with every 10 minute frequency. Rooms were spacious and comfortable Library timings were so convenient.Using the University labs 24*7 was the best facility ever since my schooling days The course is innovative and get all the creative inputs out. The lectures were appropriate to the subjet and with equal intervals At first i had Culture shock but later i felt like this is where i belong. I just dont want to leave the city. Its so clean and welcoming. People in here are so kind

Lots of fun, met lots of new people, was able to settle into the area and enjoy nights out. Great choice, all en-suite so it was not a concern I had to share. I was able to connect with the people I was going to live with before arriving. Simple but comfortable, cleaners every fortnight Library was a bit outdated but new facility opening January 2021, supportive student union lots of activities amazing surf society. Easy booking system for library spaces Small cohort means everyone is cared for and supported, lots of study time and access to facilities. Quick email responses. Amazing, no. 1 beach in UK, lots of restaurants, bars and clubs (when open)

Freshers week was fairly relaxed in terms of course content as many students wouldn't know one another so there would be lots of introductory workshops and icebreakers. It was also less content heavy due to student obviously going out a lot during freshers week so lecturers didn't expect much of a turn out during this week. The accommodation on offer at Bournemouth is amazing, couldn't really ask for more as they have so many locations for halls, all of which are in ideal locations for transport, shops and close to campuses. Then the university are really helpful in the process of finding houses in the second year so that you can arrange to live with people of your choose which is great. The facilities are state of the art at BU, the library has a very large capacity so there's always seats, there's also open access areas which are 24/7 computer rooms both on and off campus which is perfect for last minute assignments. The sports areas are great as they're newly built facilities and have access to multiple sports pitches around Bournemouth and pools area. The student union is a huge building in the centre of campus with leisure areas, help desks and coffee shops which is really good if you need help with anything or just want to chill out. The course is good as there is a wide range of content, covering financial and operations aspects to psychology and health and fitness. There's a lot of students on the course aswell which is a bonus as you're never short of people that can help you or hang out with. The lectures are very well structured and have all the rescources you need on the virtual learning environment. The city life is great because Bournemouth is like a city on the beach, it's very chilled and there's always something going on, and never too busy! Except for the summer as everyone heads down to the beaches as they're insane and well worth visiting. The city itself has everything you could need from shops to restaurant chains, cinema, activities and more.
