I loved my time at Arizona State online! I transferred in as a Junior (went to college right out of high school, never finished) and finished in four semesters. The quality of education was superb; the curriculum and professors are the same as for on-campus students. ASUOnline is more traditional than some other online programs; expect quizzes, tests, papers, lectures, exams, etc. (although all asynchronous). Most of the classes were organized extremely well for the online format; just be prepared to work hard. Each semester is separated into two 7.5 week sessions (A and B), so the material is greatly accelerated compared to the on-campus students. However, even working a full time job with a family, I was able to take 3 (and in one semester 4) classes per session, but it wasn't easy. If you actually want to learn and get your money's worth, I would highly recommend ASUOnline over some of the other options (SNHU, WGU, etc.) because the quality is much, much higher. I'm proud to be an ASU alum!

Arizona State University has a wonderful biology program. They give you the ability to choose the classes that interest you. I was able to take marine biology type classes in the middle of the desert! The professors are amazing and truly do care about each and every student. It is hard to find a university that not only has a wide variety of course but that houses staff that truly make an overall difference in your life.

My time at ASU was one I won't find myself forgetting. I know that is something many may say of their alma matter but I feel it rings true for me. The classes I took in ASU's English program were equal parts challenging and enlightening. I found myself eager to attend class and ready to tear my way through readings. I also felt urged as a writer to continue to improve instead of letting myself stagnant, thinking I had peaked. I will always be grateful for this time at ASU because it gave me plenty to build on as I continue my lifelong journey of learning."

I chose Arizona State University because it has the perfect blend of quality, education, research, diversity, climate and recognition. All of them together make a huge difference in a student's career. ASU was the best for me in terms of my academic goals and financial situation. It also had a stronger pre-medical emphasis, and they gave me a larger scholarship. I am proud of the decision I made, because ASU has given me more than just an education. I chose Arizona State University for all the amazing things it had to offer, an amazing Psychology department, a fun and beautiful campus, excellent professors, a large variety of classes and class sizes, all the amazing school sponsored activities, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! Choosing ASU over U of A and NAU was the easiest choice I have ever made. Nothing can compare the the experiences you get at Arizona State!

ASU is a very diverse university, where you can explore any major you like. If you have any questions, consult your academic advisors and professors. I am an international student enrolled in the spring of 2022. When I stepped into the campus for the first time, everything around me was very strange to me. As I gradually integrated into the collective, participated in some campus activities, I will think it is very interesting! Watching American college basketball games, participating in volunteer activities and participating in the badminton tournament organized by the school are all very interesting and mean a lot to me. Although my English level is not up to the standard of my native language, I still have many friends willing to communicate with me.
