📖 Introduction
Western Norway University of Applied Sciences or HVL is a Norwegian public institution of higher education, established in January 2017 through the merging of formerly independent colleges across five campuses: Bergen, Førde, Haugesund, Sogndal and Stord. Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) is one of the largest educational institutions in the country.
Every year around thousands of candidates graduate from HVL and contribute to important societal missions in companies, organizations and other parts of working life. HVL stretches over 5 campuses and 400 kilometers on the western coast of Norway. The university offers a broad range of academic programmes at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels.
