🏫 About Universidad Nacional de General San Martín

UNSAM's headquarters are in the Partido de General San Martín, northwest of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Built on an old railway yard of more than two hectares, the Miguelete Campus constitutes one of the main attractions of the Buenos Aires territory in terms of architectural planning and heritage conservation.

The University works towards the internationalization of UNSAM, which is understood as “the inclusion of an international, intercultural or global dimension in study programs and in the teaching and learning processes.” Therefore, the promotion and management of "international activities, such as academic mobility for students and teachers, international links, partnerships and projects; and new academic programs and research initiatives of international character" are part of the area's responsibility.
Within this framework, the Office's mission is to promote the development and implementation of policies and programs that institutionally link UNSAM with universities and other educational institutions, research centers and governmental and non-governmental organizations, both at a regional and international level.

UNSAM has developed strong, research-led partnerships with a range of leading universities in the world. UNSAM has signed nearly 400 international agreements, which have resulted in various research projects, as well as students and teachers’ exchange programmes. The university is constantly open to new partnerships based on academic exchanges, teaching, joint research projects, special programmes and innovation with universities and institutions.
