📖 Introduction

National Quemoy University is a national university, located in Jinning Township, Kinmen (Quemoy). It was founded in 1997 in Kinmen as the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, Kinmen Division. In 2003, it became the National Kinmen Institute of Technology. It was upgraded to National Quemoy University in 2010.

At the NQU, equal emphases are placed on classroom learning and real-world practice. To better prepare students for the digital revolution, the College of Science and Engineering has been strengthening robotics disciplines. The university's unprecedented Mixed Reality eSports Center effectively develops virtual reality talents, and the Cloud Classroom provides digital-assisted teaching. To better encourage youth participation in local community affairs, an innovative startup program was launched in 2020 to incentivize the NQU students and offshore talents to help resolve Kinmen's social issues with their startup ideas.

The National Quemoy University offers an environment conducive to learning for students from all backgrounds. Currently, 90% of the students come from outside of Kinmen. This massive clash of different cultures is exactly what contributed to the characteristics of the NQU  - young, energetic, yet diverse and tolerant of each other's differences.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
