📖 Introduction
Chang Jung Christian University is a privately funded, research-intensive, Presbyterian, co-educational university located in Gueiren District, Tainan, Taiwan. Chang Jung means everlasting glory in Mandarin. In association with the Presbyterian beliefs, CJCU is committed in developing the God-given gifts and abilities of each student with love, respect, and service. Even though the university was founded in 1993, the university's vision began more than a hundred years ago, in 1885, with the founding of the first Western-methodology high school in Taiwan, Chang Jung Senior High School.
CJCU seek to offer forward-looking academic programs of the highest quality which will prepare learners of all ages to contribute to a sustainable, knowledge-based economy that preserves the integrity of the Earth’s ecosystems for future generations. Chang Jung Christian University aims to establish a campus with freedom, democracy, diversity, and an open academic atmosphere; to unveil paths for lifelong learning; to cultivate outstanding youth with critical thinking, adaptability for innovation, excellent leadership, forward-looking and broad perspectives, in hopes that they will become highly qualified intellectuals and modern citizens who have universal love, righteousness, to be of service and dedication.
