Humber College offers a two-year diploma program in Tourism – Travel Services Management. This program focuses on providing students with the necessary industry knowledge and skills to succeed in the rapidly growing tourism and travel industry. The program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the fundamentals of travel services, the principles of tourism, and the marketing and management knowledge and skills needed to drive the industry forward. The program focuses on providing graduating students with the ability to understand the economic, social, political, and cultural influences of the tourism and travel industry. In addition, students will gain knowledge in the areas of marketing, finance, operations, risk management, customer service, and advanced technology applications. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to successfully manage travel services and tourism operations. They will have the ability to develop marketing plans and strategies, understand customer service and service excellence, and manage the financial and operational aspects of travel and tourism. With this diploma, students will be able to pursue rewarding careers in the field of tourism and travel services.
