📚 About the Program

The specialization Interlinguistics within the major programme Linguistics and Information Science is intended for those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree (BA, licencjat) with at least good levels of Esperanto and English (minimum level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference / CEFR). The program of the specialization concentrates on intercultural communication through the use of Esperanto. Subjects within the area of information management are taught in English. In addition, at the beginning of the second year of the program students choose subjects of particular interest to them (together 60 hours) from a set of proposed elective courses. The offer is the fruit of cooperation with different university units and changes with each learning cycle. During the studies, participants will broaden and deepen their abilities in both Esperanto and English through both practical study of the two languages and other courses conducted in them, including 30 hours in the area of translation. This makes it possible for graduates to achieve the CEFR levels of C1/C2.
