The Specialized University of the Americas, distinguishing itself for Education with Excellence and Social Commitment, follows the guidelines and trends of international organizations, to improve the living conditions of Panamanian citizens, in order to guarantee scientific, technological, humanistic development, economic, cultural and environmental for the Country. The demand for education at a higher level in the original and difficult-to-reach peoples of our country, leads UDELAS to approve through Academic Agreement No. 019-2009 of July 10, 2009, the conditions for the creation of University Extensions and Coordination of Academic Programs.
