Bachelor's in Kinesiology

Canada

The Bachelor's in Kinesiology at McGill University is a program for international students taught in English.

📚 About the Program

Overview Kinesiology, the study of human movement, is also largely known as exercise or sport science. As part of McGill’s Faculty of Education (Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education), the BSc Kinesiology program will provide you with the theoretical learning and practical training in various areas of movement science. Both undergraduate Kinesiology programs (Major and Honours) allow you to put your learned theory into practice through internship opportunities as early as the second year of studies. Students with a keen interest in research who are considering graduate studies may opt into the Honours program after completing year two of the B.Sc program. The Honours stream gives you the chance to spend your final year taking more advanced courses and working on a research project under the direct supervision of a department faculty expert. This versatile yet well-structured B.Sc program equips students with diverse knowledge in a myriad of specialized areas including anatomy, ergonomics, physiology, exercise psychology, health and nutrition, and adapted physical activity, among others. Because of the wide knowledge base in both biological and social sciences, this undergraduate program can open doors to many career options or further academic pursuits.
