The training of nursing staff is one of the high points of this University’s academic syllabus (180 Corse Credits with mandatory participation). Since 1993, it has been one of the first organizations in Italy to offer a Degree Course in Nursing. In fact, the Campus Bio-Medico’s notion of care attributes a fundamental role to the nursing corps for the quality of the services nurses provide. Nursing staff ensure quality care by paying particular attention to each patient’s healthcare and relationship needs. They work in the fields of prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and home care, as well as performing health education activities.
