The Costello College of Business at George Mason University believes in fostering the power of diverse intellects, experiences and ideas to create tomorrow’s leaders. The structure of the Mason business degree provides a diversity of perspectives and opportunities. Students in the business degree take both foundational courses across the areas of business and then specialize in one of 8 concentrations. They are thus prepared to work across business areas, while also gaining specialized knowledge in an area of their choice. Faculty members research projects in current leading global business issues including offshore outsourcing, international financial risk, and comparative systems of innovation. The school’s faculty matches the diversity of its student body—with more than forty percent of faculty from international origins and forty-five percent of faculty speaking more than one language—providing a truly global business perspective in the classroom.
