Through the compulsory study of three languages English, Chinese, and Japanese students acquire skills in each along with knowledge about different cultures. In this way, the Department nurtures trilingual human resources who can play active roles in a global environment. In the second year, all students gain cross-cultural experience while studying in the United States for five months.
