The Allied Health Sciences' health professional degree (AHS-HPD) completion program is designed to provide a path for health care professionals who have an associate degree and want to earn a bachelor's degree. The AHS-HPD major is designed to complement health professionals whose careers include medical assisting, dental hygiene, radiography, sonography, and magnetic resonance imaging, along with positions as an occupational therapy aide, nuclear medicine technician, paramedic, and surgical technician. Students may qualify if they have earned an A.S. or A.A.S. from a school accredited by the Higher Learning Commission in a health profession program that requires external accreditation and offers national voluntary credentialing. The student should possess or be eligible to obtain state licensing or credentials.
