Are you interested in a career in the field of social services and health services? Do you want to contribute to the development of people of all ages and from all walks of life? As part of the bachelor's degree in social work you will have the opportunity to master both the concepts and the political issues of social assistance. You will develop interpersonal skills in order to better understand the dynamics of human behavior. Your knowledge of social work will also allow you to grasp the political foundations of this field and the issues of social intervention both in the organizational contexts of the government and in those of the ethnic diversity of a population in a demographic and linguistic minority situation. In addition your introduction to social research will prepare you for the more pragmatic dimension of your professional training. This program aims to provide you with theoretical and practical knowledge on the system of social services and health services among others and on the issues of social intervention in different contexts while encouraging you to preserve as a priority the interests of the main beneficiaries which are groups families or individuals at risk. The development of this curriculum is envisaged in sequential stages. By the end of the first year of the baccalaureate program having taken all the chosen courses you should have mastered both the concepts and the political issues related to social work. You will be equipped with interpersonal communication skills to better understand the dynamics of human behavior in their social work practice. Your knowledge of social service will allow you to better understand the political foundations of social services and the very issues of social intervention both in the organizational contexts of the State and in those of the ethnic diversity of a population in a demographic minority situation. and linguistics.
