📚 About the Program

To prepare the next generation of nurses who will provide high quality care in a variety of health-care settings, Humber is launching the Bachelor of Science – Nursing – RPN to BScN Bridging program with the inaugural class starting in Winter 2023. Students admitted to the program must have successfully completed a 2 year Practical Nursing diploma program within the last 5 years with a 75% or higher cumulative program GPA. In addition, students in the program must be Registered Practical Nurses with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Humber is proud of its long-standing traditions of excellence in nursing education in Canada. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Bachelor of Science - Nursing degree. The program includes over 1400 hours of work-integrated learning where students will have the opportunity to put their nursing knowledge and skills to work in a supervised setting. Work-integrated learning experiences will be diverse and cover a broad range of settings including the community, schools, long-term care facilities and hospitals. Humber’s theory and science courses provide students with both individual and group learning opportunities. In our simulation labs, students practise and improve their clinical reasoning and judgement, as well as interpersonal and technical nursing skills in a safe and active learning environment.
