This program prepares to teach at the elementary and intermediate levels in French English and French Immersion schools. Its educational approach is a mixture of theory and extended practical experiences in the school environment. This two-year program complies with the requirements of the Manitoba Department of Education which stipulates that the training consists of 150 credits. Of these 150 credits a minimum of 60 credits is the responsibility of the Faculty of Education. In addition the Department requires internships of a minimum duration of 24 weeks. You must complete a first university bachelor's degree before pursuing studies in a bachelor of education program.
