Project details Energetic materials are compounds that have a large amount of stored chemical energy with-in them. By their nature, they need to be prepared, stored and handled very carefully. None-theless they have a range of important applications, such as propellants and explosives. In order to safely prepare new classes of energetic materials, this project will use modern syn-thetic techniques, such as flow chemistry, coupled with contemporary technologies, e.g. 3D printing of reactors, to provide new routes to such materials. In addition, the project will also incorporate the safe characterisation of the materials by employing on-line analytical tech-niques. This will allow us to automate the preparation of a range of new materials to explore their material properties. The student will gain skills in reaction and reactor design as well as automation and characterisation protocols. They will work as part of a wider team in the area of energetic materials.

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
