Program content Preparatory courses (if necessary) Two preparatory courses are available to bridge - if necessary - any knowledge gaps related to your educational backgrounds. These courses take place in the first period of each semester.
Background in law or liberal arts: the course Introduction to Research Methodologies in Social Sciences is available. Background in social sciences: the course Introduction to law is available. The preparatory courses are strongly recommended unless you are able to show a proficiency in both law and social sciences. There is no examination or grading applicable for these preparatory courses.
After you've been admitted, you will receive information about which course you need to follow.
Core courses 24 ECTS worth of Law courses: Comparative Labour Law (6 ECTS) Transnational Labour Law (6 ECTS) European Labour Law and Social Policy (6 ECTS) International Labour Law and Globalization (6 ECTS) Choose at least 12 ECTS worth of HRM/social sciences courses from the following: Active Aging at work (3 ECTS) Brussels/Geneva Seminar (3 ECTS) Compensation and Benefits (3 ECTS) Comparative European Industrial Relations (6 ECTS) Cultural Diversity Management (6 ECTS) International Human Resource Management (3 ECTS) Inclusive HRM (3 ECTS) Social Policy and Social Risks (6 ECTS) Internship During the program it is possible to do an internship. If this internship meets the right requirements (it needs to include a research component and you will have to write a research report) you will be awarded 3 ECTS. This internship could be anywhere in the world and provides you with fast track career opportunities. Master’s thesis The final part of your program consists of writing your master's thesis, which needs to incorporate an interdisciplinary component (12 ECTS).
