If you are interested in the student support path we invite you to enroll in our Master of Education program with a specialization in school counselling.
Entirely achievable remotely our program is by definition suitable for your schedule your geographical location and your various responsibilities. It is the only program of its kind to be offered in French in Canada.
Obtaining a master's degree in school counseling will allow you to consolidate your theoretical and practical knowledge of counseling in addition to familiarizing yourself with research methods in the educational context. Among other things you will study the philosophy and theories behind counselling; counseling techniques; interview techniques with children and adolescents; programs and techniques that are relevant to career counseling (career information); the theory and tools needed to develop and implement educational programs for students with behavioral difficulties; counsellors' code of ethics. Thanks to the internship you will have the opportunity to live a counseling experience under the supervision of competent professionals while receiving support from your professor. Thus you will be better equipped to further support young people in their academic progress and in their life choices.
Our program aims to train effective school counselors who are concerned with developing their professional skills on an ongoing basis in line with current trends associated with school counselling.
Obtaining a master's degree in education could even allow you to climb the pay scale of your employer. We encourage you to inquire about this with the competent provincial authorities.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied in English at high school or a degree
- Have passed IELTS level 6.5 or TOEFL 95 or above.
Minimum education level: Bachelor's.
The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average
A, 70%, or a
high GPA.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application
fee and
upload
the application documents.
Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your
application within
2-3
days and proceed to the university or ask
you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive
your unique
application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates.
As soon as
there is any update we will let you know.
If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
