This Memorial University of Newfoundland is a public university located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The university is the largest university in Atlantic Canada and is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities. Memorial University was founded in 1925 as a memorial to the Newfoundlanders who served and died in World War I.
