The aim of this study is to explain the basic concepts and principles of dentoalveolar surgery protocols and postoperative management Provide information about the medical history of patient by anamnesis Inform about clinical and radiological findings diagnoses and treatment planning Deficits local anesthesia and tooth extraction indications and preprosthetic surgeries such as bone and soft tissue augmentations alveoloplasty vestibuloplasty and frenectomy Students will be skilled on identifying oral surgery instruments taught surgical tooth extraction methods preprosthetic surgeries and possible complications and informed about haemostasis suture materials and suturing techniques The student describes biopsy techniques learns incision and flap design apical resection assesment of impacted tooth They have information about postoperative maintenance and complications learn bone and soft tissue grafts and grafting techniques
