As a subject teacher, you have an exciting and challenging profession with young people who are developing critical thinking and who think about the big questions in life. You deepen your knowledge in your favorite subjects that you study with the aim of becoming a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher for tomorrow's adults. First subject English English and learning is an intercultural and communicative subject that emphasizes that language development and language use takes place in social contexts. The subject studies in English comprise 120 credits. A second subject In addition to your first subject, you also study a second subject comprising 90 credits. Business-based training Already during the first semester, you get a feel for your future professional role at a school. You do your work-based education of 30 credits at a school where you gain insights into the school's operations and what the teaching profession entails. The on-the-job training takes place under the guidance of experienced teachers and supervisors throughout the training. Here you develop your ability to plan, implement and evaluate teaching. The close contact with the school means that you can use your practical experiences in the theoretical studies.
