The special education program is aimed at those who want to offer support to preschool teachers/teachers and school leaders in matters concerning children and students in need of special support and their right to an equivalent education. For preschool teachers, there is an opportunity to apply for the special education program with the profile language and communication development in preschool. There you will gain knowledge about children's early language and communication development and how language difficulties can be prevented. For those who choose the profile, language and communication development will permeate the entire education. For the time being, the profile is only given at full speed (100%). The focus of the special education program covers three central areas for the special education professional role: identify opportunities in learning and teaching environments qualified conversations on various educational issues as well as participating in and leading pre-school/school development and special educational change work. In the program, you build on your previous education and develop professional experience into in-depth knowledge for work in areas of activity that require qualified special pedagogical knowledge. This applies, for example children's and students' development and learning in relation to work and approach and teaching work with extra adaptations, special support, educational investigation and action program based on a holistic perspective to participate in and lead qualified conversations, participate in and lead special educational change work to participate in the organization's quality work through follow-up and evaluation. The minimum age is 18.
English fluency is required. You need to be either: - A native English speaker - Studied in English at high school or a degree - Have passed IELTS level 6.5 or TOEFL 95 or above.
Minimum education level: Bachelor's.
The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
