The global economy places completely new demands on the transport sector. Transport must be faster, more environmentally friendly and safer. Constantly new requirements mean that there is a need for more and more employees with a holistic view of the transport industry and with competence in business administration, in order to cope with new qualified tasks. During the education that gives a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on Transport Management, you will develop the ability to initiate, plan and manage operations in a transport or logistics-related field. You get the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for an industry in constant development. The education includes courses in, among other things, logistics, finance, marketing, organization and leadership, law, IT and the environment. All courses are designed in close collaboration with companies and organizations in the transport industry, and many choose to write their thesis together with a company. The goal is that upon graduation you have the knowledge and skills required for qualified tasks within various transport and logistics operations. A Transport Manager can work as, for example, forwarder, transport or logistics manager, traffic planner, investigator or project manager in both business and the public sector, or as a self-employed person.
