Students in the GPHS Program work closely with faculty to develop the skills necessary for a career in the scholarship and practice of genocide prevention. Students are offered a solid grounding in the literature of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, particularly the theory informing such literature, and have many hands-on opportunities to apply this theory to real-world scenarios.
The Critical Global Engagement track allows students interested in international work to gain experience with international travel and work in atrocity prevention in national and regional contexts. Students can focus on a particular region and country, including through travel to that region, with optional internships and language courses while there.
