The Master’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition (120 Course Credits with mandatory participation) trains experts able to work in various fields, such as the nutraceutical industry, the food processing, conservation and distribution industry, mass catering, food education as nutritional consultants or in the foodstuff and food production chain in the quality control field.
According to a survey commissioned by UCBM, in the coming 2 or 3 years, professionals specialized in these fields will be increasingly sought after within the Italian food industry, which is ready to absorb 8000 professionals in the areas of quality control, as well as certification and product research and development (source: Pepe Research, 2016). The same research highlights major overlapping between the professional competencies required by the industry and those offered by the UCBM curriculum.

Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome
The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome was established in the late 1980s by Bishop Álvaro del Portillo, who was the Prelate of Opus Dei at the time. The university was created with the intention of providing a university clinic in Rome that could offer comprehensive human and professional training to students, while also adhering to the Christian spirit of service. The university is owned by two promoting bodies, the Campus Bio-Medico Association and Campus Bio-Medico Spa. The latter is responsible for the University Hospital building and other properties on the campus. One of the main objectives of the university is to cultivate a passion for reality, the world, and the environment among its students. It aims to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen professions while also fostering personal growth and fulfillment. Additionally, the university emphasizes the importance of work as a means of serving others, further emphasizing its commitment to the Christian spirit of service.

- Can demonstrate a high level of English

The program is quite competitive, you need to have a high grades of
Average B, 60%,
or a high GPA.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
