Bachelor's thesis
You finalize your third year by writing your Bachelor’s thesis: the final research project to crown your Bachelor’s degree.
Guest lectures
In the third year you have the option to take part in Career perspectives EOR. In a series of five to seven sessions, guest speakers, who are experienced professionals, will be invited to the campus to speak about their company and give striking examples they have encountered in practice.
The sessions 'Business Analytics and Operations Research Mastermind' are related to the program of Business Analytics and Operations Research
The sessions 'Options for the Future' relate to Financing and Actuarial Services
The sessions ‘Career perspectives for Econometricians’ related to Econometrics and Mathematical Economics
The sessions will be the ideal opportunity to get to know the latest trends and applications of Econometrics and Operations Research in practice. You will get to know companies and it might help you decide which direction you want to go with your master’s program and future career!

Study abroad: going on exchange
We encourage all students to gain international experience. A popular and very exiting option is to go abroad on exchange. As an exchange student, you study at one of the many international partner universities of Tilburg University, typically for one semester.
The Study Abroad & Exchange Office of Tilburg University will be available to help you research the opportunities within your study program and a dedicated Study Abroad & Exchange Coordinator will be advising you before, during and after your exchange.
Most students will be eligible for a grant or scholarship to financially support them during their exchange experience. Additional grants for students with special needs or a difficult financial situation are also available.
