📖Introduction
Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) is a public tertiary education institution in Malta. It was founded in 1989 and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of business, engineering, IT, education, and health sciences. The degree in Digital Games Development offers learners the extra edge when it comes to the creation of entertainment software. The taught component provides insight on the various stages involved in game design and development. Students will learn to utilize state of the art tools and technologies for implementing digital games. Such artefacts require a variety of skills alongside 3D game engines. These skills include ux/ui design, game level design, software development, software testing, content creation (through audio/visual tools), 3d modelling, networking, game logic, ai, mathematics, physics etc. Additionally, work placements will not only allow learners to understand the roles and responsibilities in an organization. They will work on real-world problems and will understand the importance of decision making, problem-solving, whilst being effective team players. Finally, through the research component, students will explore how to investigate, resolve, and present findings related to a research problem in a given domain. There is also a “double degree route” for those aspiring game developers who would like to extend their studies and work experience abroad and take their existing qualification in Digital Games Development, Multimedia Software Development or Software Development to the next level.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average

high GPA.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your
application within

days and proceed to the university or ask
you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive
your unique
application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates.
As soon as
there is any update we will let you know.
If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
