This course aims to develop students' listening speaking reading - writing and study skills The course provides students with the opportunity to develop their communication skills through controlled activities and to equip students with the basic study skills necessary to follow the curriculum of English This course also provides students with the opportunity to process the newly acquired knowledge and to develop their ability to ask questions about how to apply the new knowledge to new situations and ask them to think critically In addition this course will enable students to learn about the different strategies required to review the various reading pieces such as finding the main idea and distinguishing the details from the main idea

Visual Design develops key digital communication skills such as design project management and presentation The course will particularly focus on the relations between perception image presentation and will examine several aspects of visuality and image with Adobe Photoshop programme Visual Design with Computer Aided Presentation will cover the most common Photoshop features and the techniques used in preparing images projects designing for print and for use in page layouts and page designs in desktop publishing applications It is an introductory course on projects photography and electronic imaging techniques Students are expected to acquire basic technical knowledge of digital images including project and image developing enlarging and paper processing in synchronization An introduction to the presentation capabilities of a sophisticated full color computer graphics system Using advanced ``user-friendly'' software designed primarily for artists architect interior designer and graphic designers students will learn to create presentation techniques on project and design on the computer Subjects covered will include computer photoshop terminology saving and recalling images on disk digitizing a photographic image and producing ``hard copy'
