Berea College is a private liberal arts work college in Berea, Kentucky. Founded in 1855, Berea College was the first college in the Southern United States to be coeducational and racially integrated. Berea College offers a high-quality education to academically promising students with limited economic resources. It awards every student a Tuition Promise Scholarship so that no Berea student ever pays tuition.
The College is known nationally for its innovative and outstanding service-learning program. Berea have an extensive collection of materials and non-commercial musical recordings documenting the history and culture of Southern Appalachia.
Since its founding, Berea has welcomed students from “all nations and climes” to learn and work there. Berea’s educational experience provides students the knowledge and skills to navigate the world successfully. The College provides a challenging yet supportive learning environment. Because of Berea’s Tuition Promise Scholarships, students pay no tuition and graduate with little or no debt. Since the cost of tuition is already covered, students are able to use grants, such as the Pell grant, to help pay for housing and meals. As a federally recognized Work College, Berea doesn’t just admit students; it hires them. Student education at Berea involves academic and work components, both deeply grounded in learning.

Register when you arrive - its not possible to reserve a room before arriving. You can arrive a few days before and book it

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.
Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
