USA🟢*There are currently no geographic COVID-19 entry ban proclamations in effect. Please check vaccination requirements with each university.NAFSA Link
Germany🟢*Entry is possible from within the EU, Schengen associated states, and a list of EU approved countries. Students from high risk countries can enter without quarantine if they are vaccinated with Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca or J&J at least 14 days before and test negative before boarding. If they are not vaccinated, they need 10 days in quarantine which can end after 5 days with a negative test on day 5.Link
China🔴Students are not allowed to enter China. There are some limited exceptions for students from South Korea, Pakistan, Russia, and students from a few Sino-Foreign joint universities. Link
UK🟢*There are no red list countries and no requirements to quarantine. Please check the link for more info on test requirements.Link
Japan🟠Japan has eased Covid-19 entry restrictions from 1st March 2022 and simplify entry screenings for students, allowing gradual entry.Phased Measures

Dubai🟢*All international students are allowed entry to Dubai, and must hold a negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.Link
New Zealand🟢NZ will open to international students ahead of schedule on July 31, 2022. Students will be able to apply for visas from that date. Education. Students may still need to comply with testing/quarantine requirements.Link

South Korea🟢*International students are allowed to enter South Korea and must provide a pre-departure negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 48 hours of departure. There will be a mandatory 7-day quarantine upon entry for all overseas travelers.Link

Singapore🟢*Students need to apply for a student's pass. All students must present proof of vaccination. All countries/regions allowed. Arrivals from Macao, Mainland China, and Taiwan need to take a pre-departure test, test on arrival, and self-isolate until a negative test result. All other countries + regions, including Hong Kong, need a pre-departure test, 7 days of Stay-at-Home Notice, and Covid PCR test before the end of SHN.Link

Switzerland🟠International students that are applying for long term degrees can enter the country. Students are not permitted to enter Switzerland for education and training courses that last less than 90 days. In order to enter the country, they will need the assurance of a residence permit or an entry permit with a visa issued by Switzerland. Link
Canada🟢*Need to be fully vaccinated and have a 14 day quarantine plan in place.Link
Australia🟢*All international student visa holders who are fully vaccinated for international travel purposes can travel to Australia without a travel exemption. Unvaccinated visa holders will still need to be in an exempt category or hold an individual travel exemption to enter Australia. Quarantine rules and duration for unvaccinated visa holders depends on the States and territories.Link

Spain🟢*International students are exempted from the temporary travel restrictions to Spain, regardless of nationality or place of residence. You are allowed to enter into Spain if the corresponding visa documents have been issued and the entry must take place during the academic year or 15 days before.Link
France🟢*All vaccinated and non-vaccinated international students from Green, Orange and Red classifications can enter the country. Non-vaccinated international students from the “orange” list countries are required to quarantine for 7 days upon arrival and undergo a second PCR test at the end of the isolation period. Non-vaccinated travellers from the “red” list countries are required to enter quarantine for 10 days (supervised by security forces) upon arrival in France and must provide proof of the address of the home or a suitable accommodation (hotel or similar) for quarantine. Hong Kong🟠International students will undergo compulsory quarantine of 7-14 days in a designated quarantine hotel. Link

Italy🟢*International students are allowed to enter the country. While a COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory for entry to Italy, proof of vaccination may facilitate exemptions from entry, test certificate, and quarantine requirements depending on the travel history.Italian
Taiwan🟢*The Taiwan government is allowing overseas students pursuing degrees and the recipients of the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship in the new semester to apply to enter Taiwan. They will also reopen their borders this March 2022 to about 5,000 international language students who do not have the Ministry of Education’s Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. International students will need to apply for a special entry permit to enter Taiwan.Link

Turkey🟢*All international students can enter the country, but those that will come from "Dark Red Countries with a student certificate to be notified by the National Education and Culture Ministry or to register as a new student will be able to enter the country on the condition that they spend 14 days in central quarantine."Rules

Argentina🟢*International students are allowed to enter the country, so long as they have received a complete course of a vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival into Argentina and have supporting documentation to show this.Spanish

India🟢*International students are allowed entry to the country, with some restrictions depending on vaccination status. All foreign travellers are required to upload either a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report (within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey), or a Certificate of completing full primary vaccination schedule of COVID-19 vaccination. As of February 28, 2022, there are 88 countries/regions that India is allowing to upload their primary vaccination schedule completion certificate.Link

Indonesia🟢*International students are allowed to enter the country. Students must show a negative RT-PCR test result in the country or region of origin in which samples were taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before the departure time. All international students are required to quarantine from 3-7 days, depending on how many doses of COVID-19 vaccines they have already received prior to their journey to Indonesia.Link

Qatar🟠Qatar currently has specific health and safety measures for travelers coming to Qatar – Standard Health Measures and Red Health Measures. International students are allowed to enter the country by submitting a negative pre-travel PCR lab result obtained no more than 48 hours before the time of departure from the country of origin. Unvaccinated students from countries subject to COVID-19 Red Health Measures are not allowed to enter Qatar (Bangladesh, Egypt, Georgia, India, Jordan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka).Info
Philippines🟢*The Philippines has suspended its Red/Yellow/Green list system. All fully vaccinated travelers are allowed entry but must present a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test undertaken within 48 hours before departure. Unvaccinated travelers are required to quarantine.Link

Denmark🟢*International students from all countries are permitted entry to the country. As of October 25, 2021, entry from countries which are considered by Denmark as COVID-19 high-risk countries are to be tested and isolated immediately after entry.Link
