In Year two, you will develop more advanced knowledge and skills to do with artificial intelligence, theory of computation, advanced algorithms, amongst others.

There’s no better way to find out what you love doing than trying it out for yourself, which is why a work placement2 can often be beneficial. Work placements usually occur between your second and final of study. They’re a great way to help you explore your potential career path and gain valuable work experience, whilst developing transferable skills for the future.

If you choose to do a work placement, you will pay a reduced tuition fee3 of £1,250. For more information, please go to the fees and funding section. During this time you will receive guidance from your employer or partner institution, along with your assigned academic mentor who will ensure you have the support you need to complete your placement.

In three, you will develop more advanced knowledge and skills to do with mobile application development, web API development, parallel and distributed programming, amongst others.

If you meet the criteria, you could choose to take an additional fourth-year master’s option, which will deepen your knowledge and expertise. The MSci aims to consolidate and strengthen the skills you’ve developed over the course of your first three of study. Building on your existing knowledge, you’ll explore a series of highly advanced subjects in the field of Computer Science which lie beyond the scope of undergraduate study, from Computer Vision to GPU programming, equipping you to undertake employment or postgraduate research at the leading edge of digital technology.

This provides insight into more advanced topics in computer science and can act as a steppingstone to postgraduate research or further study.

Entry Requirements

You are not eligible to apply to this program because:

The minimum age is 18.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.

Minimum education level: High School.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
