Bow Valley College is a public, board-governed college operating as a comprehensive community institution under the Post-Secondary Learning Act of Alberta. Bow Valley College has been a student-centered community college since 1965, assisting students in achieving their career objectives. It provides a low-cost education with an 88 percent graduate employment rate.

The College emphasizes on small classes, applied learning, focused work experience, and extensive learner support services. The faculty and staff at the college provides a fantastic learning experience to students who come from all walks of life and who hail from distant countries or are just from the local community.

Bow Valley College is an innovative, world-class college with more than 600 faculty and staff who speak more than 50 languages. It is ideally located in the heart of downtown Calgary, a young, vibrant metropolitan centre.  Bow Valley College closely follows national and international trends in business, health care and human services to create certificate and diploma programs that are relevant and useful all over the world. Practicum work terms provide graduates with the competitive skill sets they need to be successful in today’s workplace. Courses are also transferable for further post-secondary study through agreements with other higher education institutions.
